Bar Bending Machine :
A bar bending machine is a type of machinery to work on a wide variety of steel bars, TMT bars, and reinforcement bars. The bar, also termed rebar is used in construction works. A steel bar bending machine can bend steel bars from 0 to 180 degrees and in different ranges of diameter.
Parts of a bar bending machine :
- It consists of an electric motor, a circular plate, a gear drive, a shaft, and a coupling.
- It has two rollers – a moving bending roller and a center roller. The moving bending roller pushes the bar in the bending direction. The center roller remains stationary. The bar rotates around this roller.
- An electric motor transmits power to the gearbox that regulates the speed.
- A circular disc with holes in it bends the bar using a gearbox. It can bend bars in a particular range.
- Adjustable stopper, main switch, power indicator light.
- Angle setter & Angle stopper.
- Operation button ON/ OFF.
- Emergency stop button.
- Foot operated switch.
How to use it?
- Select the correct rollers and set the bars to be bent.
- After starting the machine, place the bar between the center and the bending roller on the surface.
- Make sure the bar is parallel to the front edge of the machinery by adjusting using an adjustable stopper.
- Make a test bend and set the angle using an angle setter.
